Privacy policy
Missing Page Studios is an independent game studio. This page covers missingpagestudios.com, the mailing list and the MPS Account you can use across our games. We keep as little as we can and we never sell it.
Your MPS Account
- What we keep: your email address, a scrambled (hashed) password if you set one, your player name, display name, bio and profile settings, the achievements you earn, your points and leaderboard places, the unlocks you have, and the games and devices you have signed in.
- Google sign-in: if you choose Continue with Google, Google tells us your email address and a Google account id. We never see your Google password and we ask for nothing else.
- Why: to sign you in, show your profile and achievements, run the leaderboards and give you unlocks in other games. Signing in uses one cookie that keeps you signed in; we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Who sees it: your player name, profile and achievements are public unless you set your profile to private. Your email is never shown to anyone.
- Delete it: on your account page, choose Delete account. That removes your account, profile, achievements, scores and signed-in devices straight away.
Bug reports
When a game is in Early Access, you can report a bug on its known bugs page while signed in. We keep what you write (title, description, steps, platform and version), the account that sent it and when. Every report is reviewed first. If we accept it, its title, description, steps, platform and version may be shown publicly on that game's known bugs page, without your player name or email; reports we don't accept stay private. Please leave personal details out of reports. Reports are linked to your account, and deleting your account deletes them, including any that were shown publicly.
The mailing list
If you join the list, your email address and the games you picked are kept by our email provider, Kit, only to send you our news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Security and logs
To stop abuse we briefly note the network address of requests that try to sign in or send codes. Our host keeps standard server logs. Accounts are for players aged 13 and over.
