Home field now matters
Every snap now has a home side and an away side. The away team commits first, and the home team picks last after seeing the away team's boosters, tactic and coach card. The play call itself always stays secret.
That makes the new counter cards worth holding. Coach's Challenge cancels the other side's tactic and Flag on the Play cancels their coach card. Eight new coach cards also include deck engines like Two-Minute Offense and Turnover Machine, plus two once-a-game legendaries, Halftime Speech and Perfect Game Plan. The opposing coach is sharper too, choosing tactics to fit the down, distance and score.
