Bleachback

A chalk-white crawler under a shell like a bleached skull. Colour is its food: it creeps to wherever your spells have brought the Wastes back to life and drinks it grey again. Its shell turns most blows; it only opens to breathe in.

How it fights

It plants itself and its shell opens with a long breath in, the pale core showing; then a white pulse of bleach rings out from it, knocking you back and draining your magic. Strike the open core while it breathes in and it seizes up, shell stuck open.
