Briarback

A low, broad crawler with a back like a hedge, thick with briars that root wherever they fall. It is a coward and will only ever charge something that is not looking at it. Fire catches in its back.

How it fights

It skulks round you in the brambles, always working its way to your back. When it gets behind you it paws the ground and a short line of thorns marks its charge - but if you turn to face it, it loses its nerve and backs off. Keep it in front of you.
