Clatterclam

A giant ridged clam that shuffles along the tideline on a fleshy foot, clattering its shell; a pale pearl glows between the lips. Lightning makes it slam shut and sulk.

How it fights

It gapes and a bubbling ring forms under your feet as water gathers below the sand; then a geyser blasts straight up out of the ring.
