Force area spell.
Area: the scepter is planted and the wizard's will goes out through the ground. A single heavy ring of bent air rolls across the whole clearing - the grass bows flat as it passes, dust jumps up in a band along it, and every enemy it reaches is knocked outward. No fire, no cracks: just the push.
