Duskstalker

A long, low, near-shapeless hunter of the dusk that you can only see inside your own light - out in the dark there is nothing but two pale violet eyes. Strong light pins it in plain sight and makes it flinch.

How it fights

In the dark you see only its eyes, circling at the edge of your light. When it is close enough it crouches - its eyes flare - and then it pounces in a long leap at where you stand. Keep the eyes in view and step back or aside the moment they flare.

Where to find it
