Gnomon

A floating obsidian obelisk that keeps the Rift's broken time: glyphs orbit it like hour-marks and its seam glows violet. It is heavy with stolen gravity, and wind knocks it off its axis.

How it fights

A ring of glyphs locks onto the ground around you and starts to shrink, then gravity implodes on that spot, dragging everything to the centre in a violet crush.

Where to find it

• The Gloaming: The Void Rift
• The Unbound Heights: The High Peaks, The Orrery Deeps, The Sky Isles
• The Aura Wastes: The Colourless Plain, The Glass Fields
• The Clock Tower (The Unbound Heights)
• The Rift Scar (The Gloaming)
• The Shell Vault (The Unbound Heights)
• The Star Cave (The Unbound Heights)

Like every creature, it leaves an aura when it falls. Absorb it to refill your magic.
