Rimeseal

A heavy grey ice-seal with a back crusted in hoarfrost and whiskers of rime. It hunts under the glacier's skin. Heat makes it sluggish and blinks it back to the surface.

How it fights

It dives into the ice and is gone; a dark shadow glides under the surface toward you while a crack-ring forms where you stand - then it bursts up through the ice beneath you in a spray of shards.
