Rotgrub

A fat, pale grub as long as a dog, its back sprouting a little grove of rot-brown mushroom caps. Fire cooks it in its skin.

How it fights

It rears its front end and a ring marks where you stand; then it heaves a sticky ball of spores in a high arc, and where it lands a sickly green pool spreads and stays a while.
