Snow Lurker

A pale, long-armed thing that waits curled under a drift with only a hump of snow showing. When something walks close, the drift explodes. Fire melts its hiding place and its patience.

How it fights

Hidden, it is just a snow mound that trembles as you come near. It bursts out in a wide sweep of ice claws around itself; afterwards it stalks you and sweeps again from close range.
